Krabi Sea kayaking in Southern Thailand
We
are a nature and eco tourism partnership specializing in sea cave
and island exploration by canoe in the Krabi area of southern Thailand. Operating out of Ao Nang and Railay
we run daily kayaking safaris into the national parks. We
allow you to appreciate the luxurious jungles without damaging the
environment.
Canoeing Through Sea Caves and Hongs
The National Park is set in the Andaman
Sea, northwest of Krabi. It contains some of the worlds scenic wonders
and is renown for its amazing limestone sea mountains
that jut from the sea as vertical rock walls. Many islands are uninhabited
and the bay is largely untouched by civilization. Hidden in the islands are numerous caves, tunnels and
lagoons better known as "hongs" (Thai for room). The Hongs are created by
collapsed caverns eroded by natural forces over millions of years. Some of them can be explored via tunnels when the tide is just right.....
The environment
It is our policy to maintain the natural environment which you
will find in the hongs and caves. We strongly discourage touching,
eating, smoking and the removal of shells for souvenirs. We like
to limit the numbers of in groups to avoid over crowding.
This ensures that ours is a "low impact, high quality"
operation.
Equipment
We
provide all the equipment. We recommend that you bring sun cream,
sun glasses, a hat and a light long-sleeved shirt as you can burn
very quickly on the water. We provide fruit, drinks and snacks. On the full day trips lunch is provided.
We also provide dry bags for your convenience.
The Kayaking Trips
We offer three different trips. The pick up point for all of our trips is Ao Nang Beach (about a 15 minute boat ride from Railay Beach). Everyone needs to make their own way to the pickup point by the specified time. The local Thai Guides are very friendly and speak good English.
  
One day trip – Kayaking in Ban Bor Thor
- 8.30 am- Pick up from Ao Nang beach
- 9.00 am- Transfer by road to kayaking starting point in Ban Bor Thor
- 9.30 am- Arrive in Ban Bor Thor and relax with tea or coffee
- 10.00 am- Brief lesson learning how to paddle with experienced guides. Start your own paddling journey from the shore in the bay. Paddle through pristine nature into the maze of mangroves forests.
- 12.00 pm- Back to shore for lunch and a rest in the restaurant
- After the break we go out again kayaking in the bay. Along the way, enjoy exploring caves, wild life and ancient cave paintings.
- 15.30 pm- Return back to the shore at Ban Bor Thor. On the way back to Ao Nang we will stop at Tha Pom to swim in freshwater pool.
- 16.00 pm- back to Ao Nang beach

Kayaking through the tunnels of the mangrove forest
Half Day – Kayaking in Ao Thalane- Morning at 8.30 am, Afternoon at 1 pm
- Transfer by road to kayaking starting point in Ao Thalane
- Relax with tea or coffee before heading out kayaking.
- Brief lesson for beginners in how to paddle. Start from the shore in to the bay. Off into the wonders of kayaking through the maze of mangroves forests lead by your experienced guide.
- Back to shore for fruit and water before heading back to Ao Nang
- Morning class arrives back around 1.30 pm Afternoon class arrives back around 5 pm
- Low season specials to 31st October: Adult Price 600 Baht
- Low season specials to 31st October: Child Price 500 Baht
- For an extra 300 Baht you can get someone else to paddle your kayak for you.
- High season 1st November- 30th April: Adult Price 800 Baht
- High season 1st November- 30th April: Child Price 600 Baht
- A Full day kayaking is also available- Adult Price 1,200 Baht, Child Price 800 Baht

Kayaking & Snorkelling in Hong Island
- This trip is only available during high season- November 1st to April 30th
- Transfer from Ao Nang to Hong Island by long tail boat.
- Arrive at Hong Island and relax on the beach before heading off kayaking.
- Brief lesson for beginners in how to paddle. Start from the shore out into the sea. Take an exploratory paddle around the island. Visit the national parks spectacular hong/ lagoon.
- Back to shore for lunch on the beach, then snorkeling among schools of colorful fish.
- Back to Ao Nang Beach around 4 pm
- Adult Price 1,500 Baht
- Child Price 1,100 Baht
 
Kayaking Trip Booking
Once we have received your booking we will email you confirmation of the availability of your dates.
The email will contain a link to our secure credit card payment gateway from which you have the choice of
paying a deposit on your booking with either a VISA or a Master Card.
Our secure credit card gateway is implemented
with 128 bit encryption in conjunction with the Bank of Asia.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
You must give at least 1 weeks notice to cancel your booking.
If you do cancel, there is a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost (that's what VISA charges us)..
If you cancel with less then a weeks notice we may be unable to refund your payment.
If you need to reschedule your booking, please let us know as soon as possible and depending on availability we will do our best to accommodate you.
In addition we are now providing refunds for natural disasters. If a natural disaster
occurs and your cancellation notice has expired, we will provide a refund of 75% of the booking,
or reschedule your booking (depending on customer preference). Natural disasters are limited to
Tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, comet strikes and the end of the world.
