Cancellations, rescheduling

If your booking is in Peak Season (Dec 15 - Jan 15) then we require 2 months notice with a cancellation fee of 10% of the total accommodation cost.

If you wish to cancel a booking which is past the expiry cancellation period, a refund is not possible. However, under the circumstances the resorts are more than willing to reschedule your booking to another date. (No charges apply)

If your booking has been confirmed and you wish to cancel, then you may do so up to a month before arrival. This applies only to High Season bookings between January 16 and the end of April). A cancellation fee of 10% of the total accommodation cost will apply.

We would like to encourage those considering canceling to reschedule instead.
A 10% cancellation fee will apply to all cancellations. Refunds will be done by bank transfer only.

If you want to cancel and apply for a refund, please email us the details at info@railay.com.
We will then provide a refund form for you to complete with your full bank details.
Refunds may take up to 8 weeks.

If your booking is in low season (May - Oct) then we only require a week's cancellation notice (a cancellation fee of 10% still applies).

If you do not cancel within the required time limit we may be unable to provide you with a refund.

In addition we are now providing refunds for natural disasters. If a natural disaster occurs and your cancellation notice has expired, we will provide a refund of 75% of the booking, or reschedule your booking (depending on customer preference). Natural disasters are limited to Tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, comet strikes and the end of the world. To put things in persepective as far as natural disaster go, there has only be one Tsunami mildly affecting Krabi in recorded history, and that was last year.
