Welcome to Dream Valley Resort, nestled around the back of Tonsai Beach. You can get to Railay Beach via a twenty minute jungle walk or a five minute boat ride.

Dream Valley has recently built an impressive swimming pool and surrounded it with shiny new, by Tonsai standards, luxury bungalows. It is now on par with Tonsai Resort as the most up market acomodation on Tonsai.

The new Deluxe rooms are clean with big beds, AC, TV and fridge. Very nice by Tonsai standards, but lots of concrete.

The new Deluxe rooms are in the new two story buildings which have been build around the pool. There is a premimum for the Deluxe Pool Access room which is on the ground floor and looks right out onto the pool. There are also some Deluxe bungalows up in the back.

In addition some of the old bungalows have been redone and have had Air conditioning installed. These are the "Superior Bungalows". These are located in the back behind the pool and are older bungalows so don't expect too much.

Finally there are the ultra basic old bungalows mouldering away way in the back. These are not on the site, but can be had the usual prices, depending on the time of year...

Now a few caveats- Tonsai Beach is a climbing mecca. The beach however is not really a swimming beach, and the picture above is at high tide. You can swim at high tide, but the water drains out exposing the reef at low tide, hence the draw of Tonsai's only swimming pool...

Tonsai Beach is still thankfully pretty jungly and basic- don't expect too much in the way of service. Dream Valley may be one of the most luxuious places to stay here but it is by no means four star...

There is wifi, but only around the internet kiosk. It's not very fast and they are not shy about charging for it.

Location
Tonsai Beach is just around the hump from Railay Sunset beach. You can walk over from Sunset beach, or you can take a boat. Be warned that when the tide is very low, it may not be possible to get a boat. There are some tide tables here which may come in handy...

During Low Season breakfast is not included and the electric power is only on at night between 6.00 pm and 6.00 am .

Rooms have air conditioning, TV, Fridge and a hot shower.

* Children under 9 sharing a bed with parents are charged breakfast charge of 125 Baht per day.
* Children under 3 sharing a bed with parents- no charge

On the 31st of December there is a giant New Years Gala Dinner. All guests are charged 1,500 Baht per adult and 500 Baht per child (3-11 years).

Transfers / Transport
Transfers from Krabi airport to Railay Beach are available for 1500 Baht each way for a mini bus which holds up to 8 people. Transfers are also available from Phuket airport to Railay beach for 3500 Baht each way for a mini bus which holds up to 8 people. After 6:00pm there is an extra 200 Baht charge per transfer.

Once we have received your booking we will email you confirmation of the rooms availability.
The email will contain a link to our secure credit card payment gateway. You will then have the choice of paying a deposit on your booking with either a VISA or a MasterCard.
Our credit card gateway is implemented with 128 bit encryption in conjunction with the Bank of Asia.

If after you have paid your booking, you wish to cancel, then you may do so up to a month before arrival with a cancellation fee of 10% of the total accommodation cost.
Peak season bookings require 2 months notice.
High season bookings require 1 months notice.
Low season bookings only require two weeks cancellation notice.
If you do not cancel within the required time limit we may be unable to provide you with a refund.
There are no refunds during high and peak season for customers who chose to check out early, unless 2 months notice is given of a change in booking.

Refunds are provided for natural disasters. If a natural disaster occurs and your cancellation notice has expired, we will provide a refund of 75% of the booking, or reschedule your booking (depending on customer preference). Natural disasters are limited to Tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, comet strikes and the end of the world.
