Railey Beach Anyavee Resort Booking
Railey Anyavee resort is a relatively new resort to open on Railey Sunrise side. It was built a few years ago, but took some time to finally open. It is not on par with the big resorts in the centre and Railey east, but straddles the gap between budget backpackers and higher end luxury- some where between Diamond Cave and Railay Bay in quality.
There is a pretty decent pool, nice gardens and a restaurant. Located on sunrise side you will be spoilt for choice of good cheap restaurants and night life. Although on the beach, Railey East beach is an old tidal mangrove forest. This makes it impractical for swimming. You will have to walk 5-10 minutes to Railey west or PhraNang beach.
The staff are friendly and they do a good buffet breakfast. In particular they are the only buffet breakfast on Railay to have real bacon, somthing I can eat vast quntities of...

Wooden Bungalow
These were my favorite rooms by far. They are mostly stand alone bungalows set into well kept gardens. They blend old style wooden bungalows with modcons such as air conditioning. They are interesting places to stay, on the good side of roughly finished in natual materials. Because they are more traditional mosquitos will get in through the gaps, but a net is provided and I found them not to be an issue.

Superior Room
This is their best room, with a large bed and tastefully furnished. It is available as a double.
While these rooms are nicely finished I still prefered the more jungly feel of the wooden bungalows.
